what do you people do to stop the trim bursting out of the retaining bolts tried silicone but just came out this is the trim at back off ski

Do you mean the bond line trim? Bolted in front and both sides in the rear?

Don't lose them I heard they were mega exspensive even at Richards price I lost part of my left rub rail, and haven't replaced it yet and probably won't.Tightening the bolts wouldn't have helped me...

you need to put washers on the underneath side because the nuts the factory put on have a tendency to pull thru the fiberglass. dont lose the trim piece because it seems like it was about 400$

I busted my rear trim piece off last year & balked over the price. I paid $128 at the local dealer, $400 man where are you shopping? I broke mine doing some extreme jumping, part of the problem is...

it is the trim at back but the washers on but still bursting through is there any harm in just taking it off whats it there for

Yes, your ski will look like sh*$, not to mention youre rear mat will be the next thing to go

Yea, that trim is not cheap. At my cost, I paid $100 for the left side plastic/rubber rubrail and the rubber incert that goes in it. My 2-cents, Matt Burkhard'99...
